Challenging Your Heart to Reach Heaven.

To reach our destination—heaven—we must overcome limits often imposed by our own hearts. That is why I must constantly examine the state of my spiritual and emotional connection with my God. The Church moves steadily toward its destination. As part of the Church, I walk this path too; together, we are heading toward a place the Lord has prepared for us.

Along the way, we must watch over one another and offer help, for there are—and always will be—those among us who are weak. "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves" (Romans 15:1). Those with mature faith must bear the limitations of the less experienced, seeking the good of others rather than their own pleasure.

Fulfilling the Law of Christ

Challenging your heart to reach heaven means not stopping and not resting until you arrive; it involves not only the challenge itself but also bearing the burdens of others—what the Bible calls the law of Christ, which we are called to fulfill. That is precisely my goal with this blog: to help fulfill the law of Christ.

"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Let us strive for holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord.

Sanctified by the Word of Truth

Our daily goal is to be holy, and the only way to achieve this is through the word of truth—the Word of God. Our hearts are transformed by God's Word; the more we expose ourselves to the Word, the holier we become. To walk bearing the mark of Christ’s cross, we must be sanctified by the Word.

John 17:17 states: "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." It is part of Jesus' "High Priestly Prayer," in which He asks God the Father to set His followers apart for holy service and protect them from the corrupting values of the world. The verse serves as a fundamental reminder that believers are meant to live distinct, holy lives, anchored in the unchanging truth of God's Word rather than the shifting values of society.

This verse identifies God's message as the ultimate standard of reality and the primary tool for sanctification. Whether referring to the written Scriptures or Jesus Himself (the living "Word"), God's truth cuts through the lies and deception of the world. We can also see a reminder in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that human strength is perfected in God: "My grace is sufficient, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

Empathy and Mutual Support

This phrase is a powerful biblical instruction (Galatians 6:2) that invites us to empathy and mutual support. It means helping those around us carry their emotional, spiritual, or material burdens when life becomes too heavy. The law of Christ is simply love for one's neighbor. Loving one's neighbor entails bearing the cross of Christ.

Today and always, I will continue to challenge the heart of the church to put the law of Christ into action; we must be a church that provides a safe space where someone can unburden their heart without judgment. A church that prepares a meal for the sick or assists with daily errands. A church that offers words of encouragement and companionship during times of grief or crisis. A church that prays, lifting the needs of others to bring peace and strength.

Active and Connected Through Love, Faith, and Hope

On this journey, we must be active and connected through love, faith, and hope; the biblical figures who embodied these virtues and a deep spiritual connection were characterized by lives of prayer, radical obedience, and intimate communion.

Figures such as Enoch, Moses, King David, and the Apostle Paul stand out; their lives exemplify how a direct relationship with God transforms one's purpose and daily walk.

Enoch, known for walking so ...walked so intimately with God for 300 years that he was taken up to heaven without experiencing death. His story is a model of constant communion.

Moses: The only one with whom the Lord spoke face to face, as one speaks to a friend. His life was defined by intercession and total dependence on divine guidance.

King David: Acclaimed as a man after God’s own heart. His deep connection is reflected in the Psalms, which reveal his vulnerability, worship, and constant pursuit of the divine presence.

The Apostle Paul: His spiritual life was marked by total surrender and a profound revelation of the Gospel; he overcame great trials through the grace of God.

Final Reflection

Remember, you are challenged to press on toward heaven. How is your connection? If it is not right, restore it through prayer, sanctifying yourself in the truth—which is His Word. Amen.

Desafiando tu corazón hasta el cielo.

Para llegar a nuestro destino final que es el cielo tenemos que superar límites que muchas veces son impuestos por nuestro propio corazón. Es por ello por lo que debo constantemente revisar como esta mi conexión espiritual y emocional con mi Dios. La iglesia va caminando sin detenerse hacia su destino. Y yo como parte de la iglesia camino también, ósea que juntos nos dirigimos hacia un lugar preparado por el Señor para nosotros.

En el camino debemos velar unos por los otros; debemos ayudarnos porque hay y siempre habrá débiles entre nosotros. “Los fuertes en la fe debemos apoyar a los débiles, en vez de hacer lo que nos agrada.” Romanos 15:1, quienes tienen una fe madura deben sobrellevar las limitaciones de los menos experimentados, buscando el bien del prójimo antes que el placer propio.

Cumplir la Ley de Cristo

Desafiar tu corazón hasta el cielo implica no parar, no descansar hasta lograrlo; y no es solo desafiar es también llevar las cargas de los otros, la biblia la llama la ley de cristo que debamos cumplir. Y precisamente ese es mi objetivo a través de este blog, hacer cumplir la ley de Cristo.

“Llevad los unos las cargas de los otros, y cumplid así la ley de Cristo”. Gálatas 6:2. Procuremos buscar la santidad por que sin santidad nadie vera al Señor.

Santificados por la Palabra de Verdad

La meta cada día es ser santo; la única manera de lograrlo es a través de la palabra de verdad, la palabra de Dios. Nuestro corazón es transformado a través de la palabra de Dios. Mientras mas nos exponemos a la palabra, mas santo llegamos a ser. Para caminar llevando la marca de la cruz de cristo debemos ser santificados por la palabra.

Juan 17:17 declara: “Santifícalos en la verdad; tu palabra es verdad.” Este versículo forma parte de la “Oración Sacerdotal” de Jesús, en la cual Él le pide a Dios Padre que aparte a sus seguidores para un servicio santo y que los proteja de los valores corruptos del mundo.

Este versículo es un recordatorio fundamental de que los creyentes están llamados a vivir vidas distintas y santas, afirmadas en la verdad inmutable de la Palabra de Dios y no en los valores cambiantes de la sociedad.

Este versículo identifica el mensaje de Dios como el estándar supremo de la realidad y la herramienta principal para la santificación. Ya sea que se refiera a las Escrituras escritas o a Jesús mismo, quien es la “Palabra” viva, la verdad de Dios atraviesa las mentiras y el engaño del mundo.

Podemos ver también en 2 Corintios 12:9 un recordatorio de que la fuerza humana se perfecciona en Dios: “Basta mi gracia, porque mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad.”

Empatía y Apoyo Mutuo

Esta frase es una poderosa instrucción bíblica, Gálatas 6:2, que nos invita a la empatía y al apoyo mutuo. Significa ayudar a quienes nos rodean a llevar sus cargas emocionales, espirituales o materiales cuando la vida se vuelve demasiado pesada. La ley de Cristo no es mas que al amor al prójimo. Amar al prójimo implica cargar la cruz de Cristo.

Hoy y siempre seguiré desafiando al corazón de la iglesia a activar la ley de Cristo; debemos ser una iglesia que brinde un espacio seguro donde alguien pueda desahogarse sin ser juzgado. Una iglesia que pueda preparar una comida para quien está enfermo hasta asistir en diligencias diarias. Una iglesia que ofrezca palabras de aliento y acompañamiento en momentos de duelo o crisis. Una Iglesia que ore presentando las necesidades de los demás en nuestras oraciones para brindar paz y fortaleza.

Activados y Conectados en Amor, Fe y Esperanza

En este peregrinaje debemos estar activados y conectados en amor, fe y esperanza; los hombres de la biblia a que puedo referirme en la biblia con estas virtudes y con una conexión espiritual profunda se caracterizaron por una vida de oración, obediencia radical y comunión íntima.

Destacan figuras como Enoc, Moisés, el rey David y el apóstol Pablo, cuyas vidas ejemplifican cómo una relación directa con Dios transforma el propósito y el caminar diario.

Enoc: Conocido por caminar tan íntimamente con Dios durante 300 años que fue traspasado al cielo sin experimentar la muerte. Su historia es un modelo de comunión constante.

Moisés: El único con quien el Señor hablaba cara a cara, como quien habla con un amigo. Su vida fue definida por la intercesión y la dependencia total de la dirección divina.

El Rey David: Aclamado como un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios. Su profunda conexión se refleja en los Salmos, que muestran su vulnerabilidad, adoración y búsqueda constante del rostro divino.

El Apóstol Pablo: Su vida espiritual estuvo marcada por una entrega total y una revelación profunda del evangelio, superando grandes pruebas gracias a la gracia de Dios.

Reflexión Final
